1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pearce precinct, enumerated 9 June, lists on pp. 8A-8B as family #136:
Sexton, Lewis, 28, b. May 1872, day laborer; Rhoda, wife, 35, b. Mar 1865, married 7 years, mother of 2 children, 2 living; Luther, son, 11, b. Apr 1889. All born Ky Ky Ky.
Considering the number of years married, Rhoda must be the same person as the Rosa B. Crager from their marriage record. So Luther may be her son from a previous marriage. He is unlikely to be James’ son, because James and his second wife Nancy Tackett named a son born in 1925 Luther Francis Sexton.
