Pelfrey, John, 22, age at first marriage 19, b. Ky Ky Ky, laborer at Hamilton Co Experiment Farm; Myrtle, wife, 23, age at first marriage 20, b. Ky Ky Ky; Shirley, dau, 6/12, b. Ohio Ky Ky; Sexton, Obie, boarder, 31, single, b. Ky Ky Ky, section hand on railroad; Metzger, Arch, boarder, 49, single, b. Ohio Ohio Ohio, laborer at Hamilton Co Experiment Farm.
They are sharing a house with John’s father George and his second wife, but they have their own family number. Obie Sexton is Myrtle’s brother, so his relationship should properly be given as brother-in-law, if John is the the head of household. But the two boarders are probably in reality more boarding with George than they are with John. The column for rent says “rent included with wages”.
