His gravestone lists his date of birth as 29 Jan 1893, but census records are more consistent with a birthdate in 1894 or 1895. (He is listed as 6 born Jan 1894 in 1900, 15 in 1910 and 35 in 1930. I haven’t found this family in 1920.)
Notes for Hassie L. Johnson
I suspect they may have divorced about 1931. There is no death record or cemetery record for any Hassie Dehart, and there is a Hassie Hamilton buried in the Black-Trent Cemetery with the dates 6 Aug 1899 to 29 Sep 1979.
