Her death certificate records Pollie Thomas, age 82 years 10 months 5 days, born 26 Dec 1835 in Va, died 31 Oct 1916 in Menifee Co., Ky, widow, father Jno Kindrick, mother’s maiden name Rebecca Eaton, both born in Va, cause of death eyopthalmac goiters, informant J. H. Thomas, Scranton, Ky, burial in Ginter Cemetery.

She was recorded in 1900 with her son William as Pollie Thomas, age 63, mother, widowed, and in 1910 with her son Harry as Polly Thomas, age 76, mother, widowed. In both records she is listed as the mother of 11 children, 11 living.

1860 census of Bath Co., Ky, Owingsville P.O., enumerated 13 Aug, lists on p. 200 as family #1670:
George Thomas, 39, farmer, b. Tenn; Ellen, 13, b. Tenn; Frank, 10, b. Tenn; Robert, 8, b. Tenn; John, 3, b. Tenn; Henry, 11, b. Kentucky; Rebecca, 6, b. Virginia.

The preceding household is that of George Kendrick, age 20, with wife Nancy age 18. (Polly is probably still in Virginia or Tennessee with the babies.)

1870 census of Menifee Co., Ky, Beaver precinct, enumerated 12 July, lists on p. 2 as family #9:
Thomas, George, 52, farmer, b. Va; Polly, 35, b. Va; Franklin, 18; Robert, 14; Rebecca, 14; John 12; William, 6; Mary, 10; George, 1, b. Ky. All others born in Virginia.

1880 census of Menifee Co, Beaver precinct, enumerated 23 June, lists on p. 29 as family #174:
Thomas, George, 52, farming. Polley, 45, wife; John, 20, son; William, 16, son; George, 13, son; Isra, 11, dau. All listed as born Ky Ky Ky, although that is inconsistent with other census years.
