The Kentucky death index lists Almyrah Thomas, age 88, died 14 June 1963 in Menifee Co., residence same.

All except Pollie listed as born Ky Ky Ky, although it should be Ky Va Va for William.

They had really only been married 8 years. Johnie is William’s son by his first marriage. Probably William reported the number of years since his first marriage, and the census taker then just applied that to both spouses. (Possibly the reason Marie was listed out of order was that Myah’s three surviving children seemed to be “used up” with John, Cecil and Iva.)

The boarder listed as “Jonie” born April 1887 is probably the John Thomas listed on his draft registration as born 26 Apr 1886.
