According to the History of Elliott County, Martin Kegley had 13 children. There were about 90 Kegley’s (all family members, not just heads) listed in the 1850 census of Wythe Co., Virginia, most of whom were his children or grandchildren. I am only tracking those who settled in the Elliott and Rowan County area of Kentucky.

I have no Kegley ancestry, but many of my relatives married Kegleys, so some of them will be cousins of mine. My main goal in entering the Kegley families is to help me figure out the relationships between the various Kegley’s who married relatives of mine.
