His WW I draft registration card, filed 12 Sep 1918, records George Kegley, age 41, born 5 Jan 1877, residence Newfoundland, Elliott Co., Ky, occupation farming, self-employed, nearest relative Lou Kegley, Newfoundland, Ky.
The Kentucky death index lists George W. Kegley, age 82, died 5 Aug 1959 in Jefferson Co., usual residence Elliott Co. (The middle initial does not match that recorded for Henry’s son George in the 1880 census, but the age fits, and I know of no other George Kegley in Elliott Co. of a similar age.)
I’ve entered both middle initials, but it may be that his middle name was William (rather than the more common Washington), and that the B stands for Bill.
