The Kentucky death index lists Nora M. Purvis, age 89, died 13 Mar 1990 in Rowan Co., residence Bath Co.

The SSDI lists Nora L. Purvis, born 19 Oct 1899, died Mar 1990, last residence Olympia, Bath Co., Kentucky.

The L probably stands for Lyons, since other records are consistent that her middle initial was M.

Another possible daughter is the Nancy A. Purvis born 10 Jan 1947 in Fayette Co., mother’s maiden name Nora Lyons. But since this Nora would have been 47 on that date, and there would have been a gap of 18 years since the birth of Doris, I am not confident that it is not a different Nora Lyons who married some other Purvis.

1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct, enumerated 4 April, lists on p. 1A as family #1:
