Sam has reported Daisy’s own maiden name rather than that of her mother.

Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 3, p. 483, records the marriage on 20 June 1903 of Samuel Brown, age 21, farmer, residence Cogswell, born in and both parents born in Elliott Co., to Daisy Ramey, age 16, born in and both parents born in Rowan Co., at McKinzie Schoolhouse by Sam D. Nickell, witnesses W. F. Harris and Ballard Ellis.

Brown, Sam, 28, block setter at saw mill; Daisy, 22, wife, first marriage for both, married 8 years, mother of 3 children, 3 living; Leonard, son, 6; Tenia, dau, 4; May, dau, 11/12. All born Ky Ky Ky.
The next household is headed by Daisy’s parents. The preceding household is headed by her oldest brother George Ramey.
1920 census of Rowan Co, Ky, Pearcy precinct, enumerated 16 Jan, lists on p. 4A as family #68/73:
Brown, Samuel, 39, farmer; Daisy, wife, 28; Leonard, son, 15; Tina, dau, 12; Marvin, son, 9; Cara (or Cora), dau, 5; Bennie, son, 2 9/12; Ruby, dau, 6/12.
The daughter May who was recorded as 11 months in 1910 is not in the household, but I cannot find a death record for her. One possibility is that she died later in 1910, before the death recording began.
