Pisgah cemetery.

Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 12, p. 42, records the marriage on 8 Nov 1919 of Nick Brown, age 49, widowed, son of W. J. & Dollie Brown, to Elizabeth Epperhart, age 46, widowed, daughter of J. F. & Manerva Brown, both born in Elliott Co., Ky and residents of Rowan Co., at Hilda by S. P. Johnson, minister of the United Baptist church, witnesses Clisey Brown and Nerva Epperhart.

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Brushy precinct, enumerated 6 Jan, lists on p. 3A as family #37:
Brown, Nick, 49, farmer; Elizabeth, wife, 46; Virgil, son, 15; Ida Mae, dau, 6; Upperhart, Cecil, 13, stepson; Anna, dau, 10; Clayton, son, 8. All born Ky Ky Ky. (There is no “step” in the relationship column for Anna and Clayton, but it is apparently meant to be carried down like the surnames are.)

1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Pine Grove precinct, enumerated 12 April, lists on p. 5B as family #87/82:
Brown, Nick, 59, age at first marriage 25; Elizabeth, wife, 57, age at first marriage 20; Ida Mae, dau, 17; Epperhart, Clayton, stepson, 18. All born Ky Ky Ky.
