His death certificate states John A. Trumbo, age 80 years 6 mos 2 days, born 5 May 1842 in Ky, died 3 Dec 1922 in Wyoming precinct, Bath Co., Ky, father John A. Trumbo, mother’s maiden name Elizabeth Allen, cause of death peptic ulcer of stomach, informant George Trumbo, burial in Trumbo cemetery.

Attribution as a daughter of Harrison Riddle and Lydia Boyd is based mainly on the fact that John W. Riddle age 20 was living with them in 1910, listed as a nephew, and the only John W. Riddle with a matching age is the son of James Riddle and Sydney Stamper. Also, Harrison’s is the only Bath Co. Riddle family that I cannot find in either the 1850 or 1860 censuses.

Since Harrison and Lydia had a daughter E. M. who died in Feb 1853 at age 3, the birth spacing is tight. Most likely one of them was born in 1848 and the other in 1849, but it could be that they were twins.

1900 census of Bath Co., Ky, Wyoming precinct, enumerated 15 June, lists on p. 10B as family #199:
Trumbo, John A., 58, b. May 1842, farmer; Malinda J., wife, 50, b. July 1849, married 34 years, mother of 1 child, 1 living.
