His death certificate records Harvey Brown, age 68 years 4 months 14 days, born 9 Oct 1849 in Ky, died 14 Feb 1918 in Carter Co., Ky, married, father Thos Brown born in Ky, mother’s maiden name Nancy Davis born in Va, cause of death “burnt up in stable that caught on fire by trying to get a pig out”, informant Jas R. Tackett, Olive Hill, burial in Bethel Cemetery.

In 1850 he was listed as age 1, and in 1860 as age 12. I cannot find him in 1870. His parents were in Greenup Co., which is where his wife Martha was born and raised, but I can’t find her in 1870 either.

Her death certificate records Martha A. Brown, age 71 years 3 months 14 days, born 16 Mar 1851 in Ky, died 14 Apr 1922 in Carter Co., Ky, father M. Bradburn born in Va, mother’s maiden name Betsy Alexander born in Ky, cause of death tuberculosis of bowels, informant James R. Tackett, Olive Hill, Ky, burial in Bethel Cemetery.

1880 census of Greenup Co., Ky, Liberty precinct, enumerated 22 June, lists on p. 37 as family #317/323:
Brown, Harve, 30, farmer; Martha A., 29, wife; Myra E., 8, dau. All born Ky Ky Ky. (Although it should be Ky Oh Ky for Martha.)

1900 census of Greenup Co., Ky, Old Town precinct, enumerated 9 June, lists on p. 9A as family #138:
Brown, Harvey, 51, b. Oct 1849, Ky Ky Ky; Martha, wife, 49, b. Mar 1851, married 29 years, mother of 2 children, 1 living.

1910 census of Carter Co., Ky, Olive Hill, enumerated 29 April, lists on p. 12A as family #151:
