The reported age at death is inconsistent with the reported birthdate. His gravestone gives his death date as 12 Sep 1829, which seems more consistent with census records as well.
The middle initial P probably stands for Proctor. His son George gave a son that name.

Hugh McNeil, 38, b. Ireland; Margaret, b. Ireland; William, 12, b. Ireland; Alexander, 10, b. Ky; Mary, 8, b. Ky; Ann, 6, b. Ky; John, 4, b. Ky; Minerva J., 3/12, b. Ky. Mary Toy, age 17, b. Ky.
Since this McNeil family apparently arrived from Ireland about 1839, and Mary was born in Kentucky in 1832, she is unlikely to be a relative, and was probably in the household as a domestic servant. The closest Toy family is that of Joseph Toy age 27 with wife Cynthia (nee Craig) age 18, on the bottom of the next page (family #77).

Clark, Isaac, 41, farmer; Mary, 38; John, 17; Joseph, 13; George, 15; James, 10; Robert, 6; Samuel, 3; Lucy, 8; John, 4/12. All born in Kentucky.
(Note that George and Lucy are listed out of age order.) It is curious that there are two Johns; the baby may be a grandchild.
