There were three John McClurgs born in the late 1880’s in Rowan Co. (plus one born about 1883), so be careful not to get them confused.
This one lived in Morgan Co. most of his life. He is buried there, and according to Pauline Hyatt Chalfin’s family tree, died there, but I cannot find a death certificate for him.
