His gravestone has his birthdate as 28 Oct 1857, which conflicts with the Morgan Co. birth records.

Morgan Co. marriage records list the marriage on 21 Dec 1876 of Leander Kidd and Nancy E. Phipps, at Larkin Phipp’s by W. R. Davis, witnesses G. W. Phipps and James Kash.
Their double stone in Purvis Cemetery is inscribed
KIDD, Lee, Oct 28, 1857 - : Nanna, July 25, 1861 - May 22, 1932
It appears to have been erected when Nancy died, and the inscription left unfinished when Lee died the next year. Leander’s birthdate is incorrect, and Nancy’s may be as well.
