Carter Co., Ky birth records list Mary E. Binion, born 22 Dec 1859, father Lincoln Binion, mother’s maiden name Louisa Porter.
Her death certificate records Elizabeth Scaggs, age 62 years 2 months 2 days, born 23 Dec 1859 in Elliott Co., Ky, died 25 Feb 1922 in Hillsboro, Fleming Co., Ky, married, father Lincon Binion, mother’s maiden name Lousia Porter, both born in Ky, cause of death tuberculosis of the longues, informant Sam C. Pence, Sharkey, burial in Denton graveyard.
Elliott County was not formed until 1869, so the informant apparently meant the area that later was incorporated into Elliott Co.

This is not intended to be a complete family group. I have no Skaggs/Scaggs ancestry, and do not research the name. Moses and Marion are in my database only to document the parents of Minnie Scaggs who married Tobias Lambert.
When I first saw that they died on the same day, I assumed a car accident or house fire or some other calamity, and was surprised that they both died of illness, and not even the same one at that.
