Elliott Co., Ky death records list Lincoln Binion, age 47, married, farmer, born in Tenn., died 9 Dec 1875 in Elliott Co., cause of death pneumony fever, parents Isaac and Sarah Binion, both born in Tenn.

The deaths report for 1910 lists Louisa Binion, age 82, widowed, died 14 April 1910, cause of death heart disease, parents S. H. and Ellen Conn.

The only elderly Louisa Binion in Elliott Co. was the one who was the widow of Lincoln Binion and the daughter of William Porter and Rebecca Flannery. Furthermore, the only S. H. and Ellen Conn that I know of were Samuel Harrison Conn and Ellen Kegley, who were both about forty years younger than Louisa. It appears that what happened here was a row/column mismatch. There are nine deaths listed on the page, and starting on line 4 the surnames do not match up the way one would expect. In tabular format, leaving out the gender, marital status and cause of death columns:

What appears to have happened here is that in the left hand columns, the child of John F. and Martha Mabry was skipped, so that all the parent names from them to the end are shifted down by one from who they should be attached to. If correct, this would mean that S. H. & Ellen Conn would belong with the person of unknown name, age and gender who died on 18 March 1910. (Another possibility is that they belong with Laura Conn who died 12 Dec 1909, on the bottom line. They did have a daughter Laura born 25 Aug 1908, who would have been 15 months old on 12 Dec 1909, and who does not appear with the family in the 1910 census. The ink on that line is faint; it is possible that the age says 14 mo instead of 4 mo. Or perhaps the data I got from family members that gave Laura’s birthdate as Aug 1908 was off by one year and she was really born in Aug 1909. It was based on a family bible, but 8 and 9 can look similar.)

1860 census of Carter Co., Ky, Bruin P.O., enumerated 23 Aug, lists on p. 203 as family #1451/1335:
Lincon Binyan, 32, farmer, b. Ten; Louisa, 28, b. Ky; Lewis K., 9; Leander, 5; Minerva J., 3; Mary A., 5/12. All children born in Kentucky.

The preceding household is headed by Louisa’s parents.

1870 census of Elliott Co., Ky, precinct 1, Sandy Hook P.O., enumerated 18 June, lists on p. 24 as family #136:
Binion, Lincoln, 42, farmer, b. Tenn; Eliza, 39, b. Ky; Lewis, 18, farm hand; Leander, 15; Jane, 13; Elizabeth, 10; Martha, 6; Henry, 3; Sarah, 1. All children born in Kentucky.

1880 census of Elliott Co., Ky, Moccasin precinct, enumerated 21 June, lists on p. 34 as family #228:
Binion, Louie (fem), 49, widowed, keeping house, b. Ky Va Va; Martha B., 15, dau; John H., 13, son; Sarah V., 10, dau; William, 7, son; Ben L., 4, son; Mary, 20, dau, single; Harvey, 1/2, b. May, grandson; Sparks, Manury (prob. intended Manervy), 23, dau, married; Rosa B., 7/12, b. Oct, Ky Ky Ky, granddau; Flanery, David, 24, works on farm, b. Ky Va Va. Martha through Manury listed as born Ky Ky Va, although that conflicts with the reported birthplace for Louie.
