The Kentucky birth index lists Golda Dehart, born 6 Feb 1936 in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Vada Johnson.
It is possible that Golda and Freda were twins, but since I cannot find any birth record for Freda, and furthermore Ora’s obituary did not mention any daughter named Golda, either deceased or surviving, it is highly probable that “Golda” was renamed to Freda after the birth certificate was filed.
Her death certificate records Freda May Dehart, age 9 years 29 days, born 6 Feb 1936 in Rowan Co., Ky, died 5 Mar 1945 in Elliottville, Rowan Co., Ky, father Ora DeHart, mother’s maiden name Vada Johnson, both born in Ky, cause of death drowning in creek, informant Ora DeHart, Elliottsville, Ky.
