The Kentucky birth index lists Jane E. Armstrong, born 18 May 1928 in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Della Estep. (Judging by the two records below, “Jane” is probably a mistranscription of Jewl.)
Her death certificate records Jual Edan Armstrong, age 4 months 6 days, born 18 May 1928 in Rowan Co., died 25 Jan 1929 in Farmers, Rowan Co., father Elbert Armstrong, born in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Dela Estep, born in Morgan Co., cause of death broncal pneumonia, contributory cause influenza, informant blank, burial in Ceary Cem.
Her gravestone has the above dates, and spells her name as Jwell E. Armstrong. Given that all three records use different spellings, I am just going to enter her name under the more usual spelling.
