“Donna J. Reynolds, age 46, resident of Broadway St., Shelby died Monday, July 16, 2007 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus following a brief illness.
Born April 30, 1961 in Rowan County, KY to Lester and Icey (Wallace) Brown, she had been a Shelby resident since 1964. Donna worked as a home health aid for First Choice, was an 18 year employee of Edge Plastics and was currently working at Mansfield Warehouse in Shelby.
During her lifetime she enjoyed fishing, playing "corn hole" and being with her family, especially her grandson.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Eric Franklin of Shelby; her grandson, Kevin Franklin; her father, Lester Brown of Shelby; three brothers, Lanny (Faye) Brown of Shelby; Gary (Jonette) Brown of Plymouth; Stephen Brown of Shelby; seven sisters, Darlene Grew of Shelby; Jeanetta Muse of Flemingsburg, KY; Charlotte Gayheart of Shelby; Roberta (Larry) Gayheart of Shelby; Brenda (John) Backensto of Shelby; Tammie (Floyd) Sexton of Shelby; Tonya (Eddie) Laser of Plymouth; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Icey Brown in 1999; an infant sister, Phyllis Brown; three brothers-in-law, Lonnie Gayheart, Leonard Grew and Woody Muse.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 20 from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend S.T. Adkins will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery.”
