His gravestone also gives his birth date as 1906 (it has years only), but that is inconsistent with the censuses, which recorded him as age 9 in 1910 and age 18 in 1920.

Bettie should be recorded as a Hardin. After Everett died, Lottie remarried to Edgar Hardin, but they divorced and she returned to going by Sweeney.
