Her obituary (posted at the Burcham Funeral Home web site) reported “E.Opal March, age 78 , a longtime resident of Fairborn, Ohio and former resident of Eiliottville, Kentucky went to be with the Lord September 11, 2010. She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Conn and mother, Mollie (Fraley) Conn: 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by those who held a special place in her heart; George March, her husband of 56 years; her two sons, George March Jr. and Stephen March both of Fairborn; her two daughters, Karen Hawkins and Barbara March of Kettering, Ohio; her granddaughter, Sara Hawkins and three great granddaughters, Kaelyn, Aviane and Teagan of Kettering; a sister, Julia Creech of Amston, Ct; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, antiquing and her family. She had a close and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, which was reflected by her acts of compassion, kind-heartedness, and generosity. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all.
Friends may call in the Burcham Funeral Home, 119 East Main Street, Fairborn, Ohio Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. where services will be held Thursday September 16, 2010 at 1 P.M. Burial will be in Byron Cemetery.”
