The date of birth is off by two years; in the 1870 census both she and her sister Charlotte were recorded as age 6, and in the 1880 census they were both recorded as age 16, indicating twins. In the 1900 census Missouri was listed with her parents as age 36 born May 1864, and Lottie’s death certificate gives her birthdate as 28 May 1864.
