Carter Co., Ky birth records list an unnamed female born 9 Sep 1853, father Emariah Enox, mother’s maiden name Matilda Ham, midwife Elizabeth Setter.

Her gravestone is inscribed Malvina McCormick, born Sep 9, 1855, died Jan 12, 1926. I cannot find her in the Kentucky death records, not even looking at all deaths in the whole state on that day (in case the name was indexed totally wrong, as sometimes happens.)

Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 6, p. 123, records the marriage on 13 Feb 1907 of William McCormick, age 49, born in Greenup Co., father Floyd McCormick, born in Carter Co., mother Frances McCormick, born in Greenup Co., to Melvina Clarke, born in Carter Co., father Dick Enicks, at her residence by H. T. Adams, witnesses Fred Pitts and M. A. Waltz.

McCormick, William M., 61; Malvina, wife, 63; Luke Clark, stepson, 28; Lennie Clark, stepson, 25; Willile McClurge, logger, 16. All are listed as born Ky Ky Ky, although it should be Ky Mass Ky for the two Clark stepsons.
