(Besides mangling the spelling of Vanlandingham, the census taker has entered Jerry’s name first name first, unlike all the other names in the precinct, which are entered last name first, thereby causing the whole family to be indexed with the surname “Jerry”. The number of children living count of 1 is odd.)
