The reported birthdate is inconsistent with census records. She was recorded in the 1900 census as age 5, born Dec 1894, and in the 1910 census as age 16. She was probably really born in Dec 1893, consistent with her reported age in 1910, since Dec 1894 would be only 10 months before the birthdate of her brother William in Oct 1895.
