She must be the daughter listed as Hazel age 1 month in the 1910 census (taken in April), and as Artie age 9 in the 1910 census. Maybe her parents briefly toyed with the idea of calling her Hazel instead, and then reverted to the original plan of Artie.

The Kentucky death index lists Artie P. Stamper, age 85, died 11 April 1995 in Rowan Co., residence same. (The P probably stands for Perry.)
