Her obituary reported:
“Mary Margaret Day Lanzo, 83, of Ashland, Ky., died Tuesday morning, Aug. 19, 2008, in Unity Health Care Center in Shawnee, Okla.
Mrs. Lanzo was born Sept. 26, 1924, in Ashland, a daughter of the late John N. and Beulah Mae Lane Day.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Lanzo, in 1998, and two brothers, Mervil E. Day and Charles M. Day.
She was a retired quality control inspector with Westinghouse.
Surviving are a son, John P. Lanzo Jr. of Tecumseh, Okla.; and a sister, Gertrude Prater of Ashland.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Charles Bush. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.”
