The reported birth date and age at death are off by three years; he was recorded as age 3 in the 1870 census and age 13 in 1880.
Do not confuse him with Grant Lewis born 20 May 1876 in Morgan Co., died 4 Dec 1936 in Morgan Co., son of William H. Lewis and Nellie Lewis, who married Martha Elizabeth Blair.
