His WW I draft registration card, filed 12 Sep 1918, records Thomas Thurman Mynhier, age 33, residence Clearfield, Rowan Co., Ky, born 18 Apr 1887, occupation machiner, employer Morehead & Norfork R.R. Co., Clearfield, Ky, nearest relative Bessie Mynhier, same address.
His death certificate records Thomas Therman Mynheir, age 53 years 1 month 6 days, born 13 July 1888 in Kentucky, died 19 Aug 1941 in Lenox, Morgan Co., Ky, married, husband of Missouri Mynheir, father Dave Mynheir, mother’s maiden name Cordelia (not known), both born in Ky, cause of death tuberculosis of the lungs, informant Bernice McClain, Lenox, Ky, burial in Cow Branch.
Note the discrepancy of birthdate from the draft card. The 1900 census also recorded his birthdate as July 1888, so it is the more likely to be correct. (These records cannot be for two different men of the same name, because David and Cordelia were living with the one married to Bessie in the 1920 census.)

Only Ruth is really Thomas’s daughter. The others are children of Missouri and her second husband Andrew Riggsby.
