His WW II draft registration card, filed 5 June 1917, records Lee Tackett, age 25, residence 916 S. Winchester Ave, Ashland, Boyd Co., Ky, born 17 May 1892 in Enterprise, Ky, laborer at brick plant, employer Ashland Fire Brick Co., married supporting a wife.
The SSDI lists Lee Tackett, born 17 May 1895, died Aug 1974, last residence Ashland, Boyd Co., Ky, SSN issued in Kentucky before 1951.
The Kentucky death index lists Lee N. Tackett, age 81, died 26 Aug 1974 in Boyd Co., residence same.
His gravestone gives his birthdate as May 17, 1893, but the 1892 date from the 1900 census and his draft card is probably the correct one.

Barner, Charles F. Jr., 40, b. New York New York New York; Tackett, Hazel, dau, 29, age at first marriage 16, b. Ky Ky Ohio; Lee, son-in-law, 36, age at first marriage 23, b. Ky Ky Ky; Clifford L., grandaon, 12; Mary E., granddau, 10; William P., grandson, 6; Eugene R., grandson, 2 4/12; Prince B., lodger, 30, married, age at first marriage 19. All the Tacketts except Hazel born Ky Ky Ky.
The father-daughter relationship for Charles and Hazel does not make sense. She is only 11 years younger than him, and her father’s birthplace is recorded as Kentucky, not New York. Also the birth records for her children give her maiden name as McKnight. I suspect Charles Barner is simply their landlord.
