Morgan Co., Ky marriage records show a license issued to Tomas Ward and Nancy Rose on 8 Dec 1834, no minister’s return.
Census
1850 census of Morgan Co., Ky, enumerated 21 Aug, lists on p. 52 as family #332:
Nancy Ward, 36; James, 14; David, 9; Mary, 6; Anna, 4; Francis (f), 5/12. Elizabeth Hughes, 36; Elizabeth, 3; Louisa, 1.
I do not know where Thomas was when the census was taken, but from comparing the list of children with the 1860 census this is obviously the family of Thomas Ward. (The neighbors also match.) The next household is headed by Thomas Ward’s widowed mother Mary Ward.
Elizabeth is probably the Elizabeth Igo who married Absolom Hughes on 30 April 1838 in Morgan Co. (There is no other Elizabeth who married a Hughes in Morgan Co in the 1830’s or 1840’s, but it is possible that she was married in another county.) The preceding household, headed by James K. Nickell age 29 with wife Elizabeth (nee Gilmore) age 21, also contains a Susan Hughes age 8, possibly another daughter of Elizabeth.
1860 census of Morgan Co., Ky, division 2, enumerated 27 July, lists on p. 95 as family #631:
Thomas Ward, 50, farmer; Nancy, 46; David, 19; Mary J., 16; Anna, 14; Sarah, 5; Joseph, 3. All born in Kentucky.
The preceding household is their son James with his wife Margaret. Thomas’s mother Mary Ward is two households later at #633.
