1850 census of Fleming Co., Ky, division 2, enumerated 22 Aug, lists on p. 27 as family #184:
Samuel C. Atchison, 31, carpenter; Sarah B., 22; Helen, 9; Harriett, 8; Allice, 5; Adelaid, 1. All born in Kentucky.
The three older girls are daughters of Samuel’s first wife Lucretia Clayton. I have not been able to find Lucretia and their other daughter Melissa in the 1850 census.
