It records Martha Rigsby, age 74, born 14 Aug 1876 in Ky, died 24 Feb 1951 in Clearfield, Rowan Co., Ky, widowed, father William McDaniel, mother’s maiden name Mary McDaniel, cause of death acute cardiac failure, informant Autie Rigsby, burial in Baldridge Cemetery, Clearfield, Ky.

Morgan Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage of C. N. Chaney and Martha Riggsby on 17 Nov 1918.

This marriage may have ended in divorce sometime between May 1930 and Charles’s death in June 1931, because Martha outlived him by 20 years, yet his death certificate reported his marital status as widowed, and hers was filed under her first married name of Riggsby.
