Nancy Isom, 40, b. N.C.; Charles, 19; William, 18; Joshua, 16; Reuben, 14; Martin, 8; Sidney (fem), 5; Sarah Hamilton, 18. All except Nancy born in Kentucky.
Sarah Hamilton was also recorded a week earlier in Morgan Co. with her parents, Ben Hamilton and Betsy Nickell. She married Charles Ison six days after this census visit, on 12 Sep 1850.
1860 census of Carter Co., Ky, Bruin P.O., enumerated 16 Aug, lists on p. 179 as family #1286/1176:
Nancy Isom, 43, b. N.C., farmer; Joshua, 22, farmer; Martin, 18; Sidney, 16; Nancy, 4. All except Nancy born in Kentucky.
The age for Nancy should be about 50, and that for Joshua about 26. Nancy age 4 is presumably a granddaughter.
