His death certificate records Charles Helton, age 74 years 7 months 9 days, born 4 April 1851 in Va, died 13 Nov 1925 in Wellington, Menifee Co., Ky, widowed, father Jerry Helton, mother’s maiden name Termine, both born in Va, cause of death chronic cattarrah of bowels and senile decay, informant S. M. Montgomery, Denniston, burial in Denniston, Ky.
The gravestone of his mother gives her date of death as 3 April 1851. So either Charles was born on the 3rd, or his mother died on the 4th.
