Daharty, Sally, 65, keeping house; McLane, Andy, 38, farmer; Mary, 26; Rowmurthy, 5; Benjamine A., 4; Isabell, 2; Thomas A., 3/12, b. March. All born in Kentucky.

1880 census of Bath Co., Ky, Wyoming precinct, enumerated 17 June, lists on p. 28 as family #262/269:
McClain, Andrew, 43, laborer; Mary, 36, wife; Robert, 14, son; Benjamin, 13, son; Isabel, 12, dau; Thomas A., 10, son; Sarah, 8, dau; Omer W., 5, son; Ova, 3, dau; William, 1. All born Ky Ky Ky. Daugherty, Sarah, 75, mother-in-law, widowed, b. Ky Va Va.

It is possible that the age for Andrew is 48 - the last digit is very faint. It would be consistent with the rest of his adult census records, but he was recorded as age 14 in 1850.

1900 census of Bath Co., Ky, Wyoming precinct, enumerated 28 June, lists on p. 18A as family #356:
McClain, Andy, 68, b. Apr 1832; Mary, wife, 44, b. Mar 1856, married 34 years, mother of 1 child, 1 living; Omer, son, 24, b. Sep 1875; Birty, dau-in-law, 16, b. Apr 1884, married 0 years, 0 children; Giney, dau, 13, b. Dec 1886. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The age and birth year for Mary seem to have swapped places - she should be 56 born 1844. The 1’s in the number of children column are lighter than the rest of the ink; it appears that what happened was that those fields were initially left blank, and in the reconciliation pass someone “corrected” it by filling in 1 to account for Robert only, because at a quick glance it looked like Omer was the first line of a new household.
