There was another Jefferson Lawson, born 28 June 1878 in Carter Co., Ky, died 11 Apr 1941 in Boyd Co., son of William Lawson and Esther “Easter” Collins, who married Lillie Helen Moore. Be careful not to get the two confused.

Most records as an adult show her middle initial as C, but it was clearly A in the 1880 census.
