M. Lyons, Sandy Hook, Ky”, informant O. W. Adkins, Isonville, Ky, burial in O. W. Adkins P.B.G.

Rosanna probably died about 1861, because there are no children after Sidney, and she would have been only in her 30’s during the 1860’s.

1850 census of Morgan Co., Ky, enumerated 6 Sep, lists on p. 101 as family #653:
Frederick Adkins, 23, farmer; Rosannah, 18; Rufus, 1. All born in Kentucky.

The next household is headed by Joseph Adkins age 45 with wife Elizabeth (nee Conley) age 42, and six children ages 1 to 13. The preceding household is headed by Owen Adkins age 27 with wife Fanny (nee Lewis) age 22, and the one before that is headed by Howard Adkins age 53 and his wife Mary (nee Coleman) age 47.

1860 census of Morgan Co., Ky, district 1, enumerated 21 June, lists on p. 33 as family #205/203:
Frederick Adkins, 33, farmer; Susanah, 27; Rufus, 10; Corelda J., 9; Amanda Ann, 7; Nancy, 4; Mary, 2; Sidney (f), 5/12. All born in Kentucky.

Two households above is the family of Owen Adkins age 38 with wife Franky age 30.

Two households above is the family of Owen Adkins age 48 with wife Fanny age 37. Note that Frederick and Owen did not move; Elliott Co. was not formed until the summer of 1869. Before that date, Sandy Hook was in Morgan County.
