I cannot find a marriage record in the WV vital stats site; marriage date is estimated based on the facts that Thomas and Alice were still single in the 1930 census (taken in April), and Alice’s delayed birth certificate (filed in 1947) listed as supporting documentation the birth certificate of a child born 26 Sep 1931
