His WW I draft registration card, filed 5 June 1917, records Gilbert Baker, age 25, residence Ammie, Clay Co., Ky, born 11 Aug 1891 in Ammie, Ky, occupation farming, self-employed, married supporting a wife and 1 child, 3 years previous military service as an infantry private.

Notes for Lucy Barrett
I cannot find a death or cemetery record for Lucy.
She was the informant, under her married name Lucy Baker, on the death certificate of her mother Katherine (Meade) Barrett in 1938.
There were three other Lucy Barretts born 1895-1896 in the 1900 census of eastern Kentucky who are sometimes confused with this one.
1. Lucy Barrett listed in Sextons Creek precinct, Clay Co., Ky, as age 4 born Jan or June 1896, daughter of John Barrett age 25 b. Apr 1875 and Sarah (nee Bishop) b. Aug 1878. In the 1910 census she is recorded with her mother and stepfather Henry A. Martin in Bullskin precinct, Clay Co., Ky, as Lucy Bearett, age 14. She married Frank Martin (24 Feb 1890-18 Sep 1980) about 1912. She was recorded with him in 1920 as age 22, in 1930 as age 38, and in 1940 as age 46, all listings in Bull Skin precinct of Clay Co. In 1920, she and Frank were living next door to Lucy’s mother Sarah and her fourth husband Keen Davidson. Her gravestone in Fairview Cemetery, Barcreek, Clay Co., Ky reports her dates as 22 Jan 1895 to 17 Sep 1964.
2. Lucy M. Barrett listed in Kingston, Madison Co., Ky as age 4 born Oct 1895, daughter of John Barrett age 52 b. Mar 1845 and Mary Jane (nee Allen) age 43 b. Feb 1857. Her parents married 30 Mar 1872 in Clay Co., Ky. (I have not located this Lucy or her parents and siblings in the 1910 census.) She married Grover Cleveland Gabbard about Jan 1914 in Madison Co., Ky, is recorded with him in the 1920 through 1940 censuses, and died 29 Aug 1995 in Fairfield, Butler Co., Ohio, her mother’s maiden recorded in the Ohio death index as Allen and her birth date as 10 Aug 1895.
3. Lucy A. Barrett listed in Glasgow, Barren Co., Ky as age 4 born Aug 1895, daughter of John E. Barrett age 28 b. May 1872 in Michigan and wife Arminta (nee Cooksey) age 27 b. Aug 1873 in Ky. She is probably the Lucy Barret age 14, b. Ky Mich Ky, listed in the 1910 census in Gainesville, Allen Co., Ky as a servant with the family of John T. Gibson and wife Sarah E. Gibson. (I have not identified who this Lucy married, if anyone, nor when she died. She lived farther away from the others, and I include her in this list only because the Aug 1895 birthdate causes Ancestry members to sometimes identify her as the Lucy Barrett who married Grover C. Gabbard, but the mother’s maiden name does not match.)
