The Kentucky death index lists Maude Switzer, age 87, died 17 July 1970 in Rowan Co., residence same.

Mary is the widow of the George Green who was living next to Maude’s parents in the 1880 census. Emma is probably not really Mary’s daughter, since George died in 1885. Maude’s husband James Crawford is recorded in Fleming Co.

Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 3, p. 338, records the marriage on 27 Sep 1899 of James Crawford, age 26, occupation carpenter, born in and father born in Fleming Co, mother born in Carter Co., to Maude Green, age 17, born in and both parents born in Rowan Co., first marriage for both, to be near Slaty Point, at Mr. Ingle’s by H.C. Downey, witnesses Monroe Crawford and James Traylor.
