Magoffin Co., Ky birth records list Theadore Brown, born 27 July 1859, father William Brown, mother’s maiden name Kiziah Wadkins.
(Magoffin Co. was not formed until 22 Feb 1860, but the annual birth reports to the state auditor were filed in April of each year reporting all births for the preceding calendar year.)
His death certificate records Theodor Brown, age 67, born in Kentucky, birth date blank, died 15 May 1931 in Mt. Sterling, Montgomery Co., Kentucky, residence Garrett Highway, farmer, father Wm Brown, mother’s maiden name Cissy Salyers, both born in Ky, cause of death apoplexy, informant Mort Brown, Jeffersonville, Ky, R#1, burial in Lovely graveyard. (There is a Sis Brown, age 80, who died 12 Feb 1920 in Jeffersonville, born in Magoffin Co, married, informant William Brown, who was very likely Theodore’s mother. The death certificate gives her parents as Wm Wadkins and her mother as unknown. Perhaps Salyers was the maiden name of Kiziah’s mother.)

Notes for Nannie Porter
Since Theodore and Nannie married after 1880 and she died before 1900, they do not appear together in any census. Her name is from the death certificates for their chidren Thomas (his recorded as Tom), Allie, Ervin and Jane (hers recorded as Jenetta Rose).
There are too many Nan* Porters in the 1880 census of Kentucky for me to be able to identify which one she might be. (None of them are in Montgomery or Magoffin counties.)
