Amanda is a daughter of Mary C., and Almira may be as well. (Her death certificate is ambiguous - it reports her father as Hence Perry and her mother’s maiden name as Mary Perry.)

1870 census of Carter Co., Ky, precinct 2, Grayson P.O., enumerated 1 July, lists on p. 30 as family #207/213:

William is Mary’s first cousin, the son of her father’s sister Eleanor “Nelly” Perry.

In 1900 Mary was recorded with her son Robert M. Perry and his second wife Almeda, as Mary Perry, age 63, born May 1837, mother. In 1910 she was recorded with her son George W. Kitchen and his wife Rhoda, as Mary Kitchen, age 73, mother. Her marital status in both censuses was given as widowed, although she was really divorced.
