I am not entering their children because this family is in my database only to document that the Powell Rose who was the son of William B. Rose and Nancy Williams is not the same one who married Mary W. Griggs in Bath Co., Ky. (The latter was the son of Bowen Rose and Comfort Ingram, my 1C6R.)

1880 census of Wolfe Co., Ky, precinct 8, enumerated 14 June, lists on p. 19 as family #158:
Rose, Powell, 37, farmer; Margaret A., 30, wife; Nancy V., 12, dau; Mary E., 10, dau; Samuel C., 8, son; Sarah B., 4, dau; Dora E., 2, dau; Arzela, 4/12, b. Jan, dau. All born Ky Ky Ky.
They are among a large group of Rose families (six on this page, and three on the previous page), including Powell’s brother Silas in the preceding household, and his widowed mother and younger siblings in the one above that.
