There is no marriage record recorded for them in Morgan Co. They were probably married in Bath Co., where records are not as complete, many having been damaged in a flood. In particular, Book 2 covering the late 1830’s and most of the 1840’s is lost.

1870 census of Menifee Co., Ky, Frenchburg precinct, enumerated 25 June, lists on p. 12 as family #92/88:
Frizby, Reuben, 53, farmer; Lucinda, 52; Rebecca, 22; Elizabeth, 20; Thomas, 14; Lucinda, 12; Robert, 9; Reuben, 6. All born in Kentucky.
The preceding household is headed by Purn Ingram, who is married to Reuben’s sister Mary Frisby, and includes Reuben’s father John (his surname also spelled “Frizby), age 77.
