Pettit born in Marion Co., W.Va., age 26, farmer, and her mother’s maiden name as Lula Reed, age 20, born in Marion Co., W.Va, certificate signed by P. McCan, informant Mrs. Engle. (The “L. C.” for her father’s name is probably a misreading of “S.C.” from a handwritten certificate.)
