Her death certificate records Mrs. Eliza Moore, age 74, born 29 Apr 1853 in Ky, died 17 Apr 1928 in Sharpsburg, Bath Co., Ky, wife of Dave Moore, father Wm. McIlvain, mother’s maiden name Mary Gore, both born in Ky, cause of death interstitial nephritis, informant Richard Moore, Owingsville, Ky, burial in Sharpsburg Cemetery.

1880 census of Bath Co., Ky, Owingsville precinct, enumerated 28 June, lists on p. 47 as family #419/421:
Moore, David, 35, farmer; Ida, 27, wife; Thomas, 8, son; Alfred, 6, son; James, 5, son; Bertie, 2, dau. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The wife “Ida”, judging by both the number of years married in the 1900 census and by the mother’s maiden name on death certificates, is the same person as the wife Eliza in 1900. David’s brother Jefferson, is recorded four households below at the bottom of the page.

All listed as born Ky Ky Ky, although David’s parents were really born in Virginia.
