Notes for Green Berry Wilson
I have not been able to find a death record for Green. His dates of birth and death are from his gravestone, and according to his grandson Leonard Wilson, who attended his funeral, he died in Minor, Ky.
Notes for Margaret Epperhart
There is a double stone in Epperhart Cemetery (two miles south of Wagner’s Corner, on Rt. 173), surveyed in 1997, that says Wilson :: Green B. Nov 5, 1860 - Oct 7, 1943 :: Margaret Jan 29, 1873 - .
The absence of a death date suggests that the inscription was made at the time Green died, and never completed. According to a grandson, Leonard Wilson, shortly after Green’s death Margaret moved to live with her son George in Springfield, Ohio, where she died on 6 March 1957.
Some people have mistakenly identified her with the Margaret Wilson who died on 16 May 1951, but that was Margaret Adkins, wife of Pleas Wilson.
