Notes for William Wiley Tolliver
Leonard Wilson, Margaret’s grandson from her second marriage, wrote this about Wiley’s death, in an email of 15 June 2013:

Your suspicions are right that William Wiley's death might have been violent. He was shot; that much is definite. I have heard one version of the story, and my sister has heard a different one. Here is the way I heard it: Wiley and his father were in Morehead when the father got into an argument with some members of another family. Wiley got him out of town and home, but later when the other family members came riding by, his father went out to the road and started the argument again. When Wiley left the house to try to get his father back inside, he was shot down by someone from the other family. My sister's version is that Wiley was walking down the road to the house of some people who hated him, intending to talk with them, but he did have a gun with him and possibly no good intentions. Anyway, they shot him before he got there. We don't know the name or names of the killers.
Notes for Margaret Epperhart
There is a double stone in Epperhart Cemetery (two miles south of Wagner’s Corner, on Rt. 173), surveyed in 1997, that says Wilson :: Green B. Nov 5, 1860 - Oct 7, 1943 :: Margaret Jan 29, 1873 - .

The absence of a death date suggests that the inscription was made at the time Green died, and never completed. According to a grandson, Leonard Wilson, shortly after Green’s death Margaret moved to live with her son George in Springfield, Ohio, where she died on 6 March 1957.

Some people have mistakenly identified her with the Margaret Wilson who died on 16 May 1951, but that was Margaret Adkins, wife of Pleas Wilson.
